Phase 7

Authority and trust layer

Editorial Policy, Source Policy, Content Methodology, About the Publisher and this changelog. The platform's principles are now visible on the public site.

  • Editorial Policy describes how content is written, what we avoid and how corrections are handled.
  • Source Policy describes which external sources we prefer and how broad sources are treated as background context.
  • Content Methodology describes how each content type — guides, insights, tools, Q&A, professional categories — is produced.
  • About the Publisher names HELPERG LLC as the operator and lists what HELPERG LLC is not.

Phase 6

Second practical content expansion

15 new practical guides published across landscape, interior and materials.

  • Landscape: front yard basics, patio planning, low-maintenance, outdoor lighting, garden pathways.
  • Interior: bathroom layout, living room layout, small apartment, bedroom lighting, storage for small spaces.
  • Materials: concrete vs pavers, wood vs composite decking, brick vs stone, roofing overview, flooring overview.
  • DOE Energy Saver, IEA Buildings and UNEP/GlobalABC cited as related context on a small number of pages; no invented prices or DIY wiring/plumbing/roofing instructions.

Phase 5

Professional directory waitlist

Six educational orientation pages for the future professional directory — builders, architects, renovation contractors, interior designers, landscape designers, material suppliers.

  • No fake listings, profiles, reviews, ratings, maps, filters, quote workflows or pricing.
  • Each page carries a preparation checklist, questions to ask, common mistakes, safety/permits caution and a directory-coming-soon block with a mailto: to info@helperg.com.
  • Independent verification of licenses, insurance, references and local rules remains with the project owner.

Phase 4

Q&A long-tail cluster

Ten long-tail Q&A pages bridging the guide cluster, the tools cluster and the data-backed /insights section.

  • Each page opens with a short, direct answer above the fold, then the variables that drive the honest answer.
  • Topics include renovation timeline, contractor comparison, structural-engineer review, scope of work, patio materials, outdoor lighting safety and over-budget drivers.
  • Cautious framing where the honest answer is "it depends."

Phase 3

Tools and checklists cluster

Five source-aware planning tools and checklists — renovation planning, contractor hiring, material comparison, project budget, backyard planning.

  • Static, server-rendered planning aids. No calculators that fabricate totals, no quote workflows, no backend.
  • Sources drawn from approved reputable URLs (Census, Eurostat, IEA, UNEP/GlobalABC, DOE, FEMA, OSHA, FTC).
  • Each tool ends with a visible "Sources and further reading" block where sources are used.

Phase 2

Practical guide cluster

Ten practical guides published across renovation, construction, materials, cost-guides, questions, landscape design, interior design and architecture.

  • Each guide includes a practical intro, audience, sections, checklist, common mistakes, professional-review block and FAQs.
  • Cross-linked into category pages, tools and Q&A pages.

Phase 1.5

Brand logo and material design system

Brand logo integrated and the material accent system (concrete, wood, brick, steel, landscape) rolled across cards, dividers and footer edges.

Phase 1.5

Insights — data-backed explainers

Five data-backed /insights pages — building permits, construction spending, buildings and energy use, why renovation costs change, sustainable building basics.

  • Each insight cites reputable sources (Eurostat, U.S. Census Bureau, IEA, UNEP/GlobalABC) and states limitations of the underlying data.
  • WebmasterID analytics tracker added globally via next/script in app/layout.tsx during the same week.

Phase 1

Initial production-ready foundation

Build Design Hub launched with category foundation pages, sitemap and robots, metadata helpers, JSON-LD helpers, brand palette, navigation and legal disclaimers.

  • Operator/publisher: HELPERG LLC.
  • Canonical host: https://www.builddesignhub.com.
  • All initial routes prerendered as static content.
