Future directory and marketplace

Professional Directory

A planned directory of professionals across construction, design and home improvement. The category pages below explain what each professional typically does, how to prepare before contacting them and what to ask. Listings of specific firms are not yet live.

Build Design Hub does not currently verify, recommend, rank or endorse specific professionals. Independent verification of licenses, insurance, references, contracts and local requirements remains with the project owner. For background on the publisher and how these pages are produced, see About the Publisher and the Content Methodology.

Hiring and project decision guides

Prepare, compare and decide with confidence

Educational guides for choosing, comparing and preparing for conversations with builders, contractors, architects, designers and suppliers. Build Design Hub does not verify, endorse, rank or recommend specific professionals — independent verification stays with you.

These are educational planning guides only. They are not legal, contractual, engineering or construction advice. Licensing, insurance, permits and requirements vary by location — verify professionals and local rules independently.

For homeowners and project planners

Find qualified specialists with confidence

The directory will help project owners shortlist licensed and qualified professionals by category and project type. It will not replace independent verification of credentials, references and contracts.

  • Browse the category pages above to understand the role before you make contact.
  • Use the preparation checklist on each page to ready a brief.
  • Pair the conversation with the relevant Build Design Hub tools and Q&A pages.

For professionals

Register interest in being listed

Build Design Hub is designing the directory carefully — listing requirements and verification standards are being finalized before launch.

If you are a builder, architect, designer, contractor or material supplier interested in being listed when the directory launches, email HELPERG LLC at info@helperg.com with your firm name, category, location and a short summary of services. No payment is collected, and no automated quote workflow is in place.

How to prepare a project request

Before you contact any professional

A short preparation pass usually saves time on both sides and produces more comparable responses. The detailed checklists on each category page extend this list.

  1. 1Write a one-paragraph problem statement.
  2. 2List rooms or areas in scope and out of scope.
  3. 3Identify which professionals are already engaged.
  4. 4Frame the budget in categories, not as a single number.
  5. 5Note any deadlines, household constraints or site conditions.
  6. 6Collect any existing drawings, surveys, photos or permits.
