Four constructions, one apparent result
All four divide interior space and none is intended to carry floor or roof load. That shared job is why they get compared at all, and it is also why the comparison is so often made on appearance and cost alone, when the properties that separate them are invisible in the finished room.

Weight, and what the construction below has to accept
