When Land Drainage and Infiltration Work Against Each Other

Two arrangements on one plot can be entirely sound in themselves and still be working against each other. Subsoil land drainage exists to intercept or lower the water held in the ground. An infiltration structure exists to put collected surface water into that same ground. Opposite intentions, similar appearance
