What surface film is

Self-adhesive architectural film is a thin printed or coloured film carrying a pressure-sensitive adhesive on its back. It is conformable, so it can be worked around edges, returns and shallow profiles, and it is applied by squeegee with the release liner peeled progressively away. Decors include plain colours, wood and stone effects, and metallic or textured faces.

Its purpose is overwrapping.
