What shower wall panel is
Bathroom and shower wall panels are large decorative-faced boards made to line bathroom walls in a small number of pieces. The face may be a printed or laminated decor, a solid colour, or a moulded surface. Cores fall into a few broad families that wet very differently: a faced board core such as moisture-resistant MDF or particleboard, a solid or foamed plastic core, and mineral-filled composite. Which of those a panel uses is a question for its manufacturer. Long edges are often shaped so that panels interlock, and jointing profiles, corner sections and capping trims are sold to match.
